The Contribution of acad. Silviu Berejan in the Development of Modern Semasiology

The article is devoted to the contribution of acad. Silviu Berejan to the development of lexicology and semasiology, which, examining the lexical-semantic system of the language, identified the existence, between two or more vocabulary units, of some lexical-semantic relations in the plane of expression - of homolexia, paralexia and heterolexia and in the plane of the content - of homosemy, parasemy and heterosemy, and we managed to identify a new relationship - of parasemolexia, i.e. the simultaneous existence of a lexical-semantic relationship between the level of expression and that of content.
