God the Creator and man the creator: Auctor – Creator – Conditor

Статья посвящена наиболее частотным наименованиям Бога-Творца как в экзегетической литературе, так и в церковной поэзии. Гимнографические сочинения играют важную роль в формировании и распространении положений христианства, в частности представлений о Боге, поскольку они передают сложные богословские идеи доступным языком при помощи ярких, легко запоминающихся образов. Бог занимает центральное место в картине мира средневекового человека и описывается посредством множества наименований. Наиболее частотными из них оказываются “auctor”, “creator” и “conditor”, объединенные идеей созидания. Эти лексемы сохраняют значе-ния, которые они имели в классическом латинском языке, но и приобретают новые. The paper focuses on the most frequent names of God the Creator both in exegetical literature and in church poetry. Hymnographic texts play an important role in the formation and dissemination of Christianity, in particular ideas about God, since they convey complex theological ideas in simple, comprehensible language with the help of vivid, easy-to-remember images. God occupies a central place in the worldview of medieval man and is described through many names. The most frequent of them are “auctor”, “creator” and “conditor”, united by the idea of creation. These nouns largely retain the meanings they had in ancient Latin, but new meanings of these words are also noted in Christian contexts.
