Abstract
In the obituary notice of Charles Stewart Middlemiss (Obituary Notices of Fellows of the Royal Society, No. 14, vol. 5, 1945, p.64), the hope was expressed that a specimen of his paintings would be included in Notes and Records. Middlemiss’s painting of the Chor Mountain is, accordingly, reproduced on the accompanying plate.
