BULGARİSTAN TÜRKLERİNİN ÇAĞDAŞ ŞİİR DÜNYASINDA “DOBRUCA”

Dobrudja (Bulgarian: Добруджа, Romanian: Dobrogea), which is one of the important regions in the Balkans where Turkish language and culture have been established from past to present, preserves its social texture where universal values and cultural differences exist in harmony at the intersection of political and cultural borders. One of the main elements that make up the cultural mosaic of Dobrudja is undoubtedly the Turkish language and literature. The historical figure Sarı Saltuk, whose tomb is in Romania/Babadağ, is one of the important figures symbolising Turkish civilisation and tolerance within the multicultural structure of the region. The reflections of the Dobrudja Turkish identity have taken place in oral and written literature in many literary productions that existed in the post-Sari Saltuk period. Although today, settlements such as Silistre, Hacıoğlu Pazarcık, Balçık, Tutrakan, Akkadınlar, etc. have been included in Bulgaria, they have continued to be evaluated in the Dobrudja cultural area in literary literature. In this paper, the aspect of Dobrudja, the southern part of which is located in Bulgaria, reflected in the literary production of Bulgarian Turks is emphasised. In the paper, the poets, poetry samples and analyses of the poets who reveal the image of ‘Dobrudja’ in the collective memory of the Bulgarian Turks are included; it is aimed to share the world of emotion devoted to Dobrudja in the poems of Bulgarian Turkish poets with the scientific circles.
