Un Programa de Renovacion Vocacional Para los Pastores de la Asociacion de Baja California, Mexico

Problem. The pastors of the Seventh-day Adventist Conference of Baja California, Mexico, are a key factor in the development and implementation of the mission, but over the years, some of them not only lose energy, but also the vision and motivation to move on and have a tendency to stop supporting and promoting the ministry work program. This thesis aims to develop and suggest a program that can renew the motivation of those pastors who have forgotten their calling, in addition to helping maintain the provision and ongoing development of those who have given their lives to church service with the aim of doing so until the end. Methodology. The project for developing this program was presented to the administration of the Baja California Conference to ask for assistance, who expressed their willingness to cooperate with this project. During the first meeting of spiritual inspiration to the pastors, and devotional exercises, they were able to identify and express elements of their ministry work which they considered successful and disincentives to perform ministerial duties satisfactorily. Taking into account these elements, a second meeting was organized which included guidance and inspiration for the pastoral staff, according to their needs. Results. Pastors, through an evaluation sheet, expressed appreciation for allowing them to participate in a program which took into account their suggestions, and also to the orientation seminars that were offered because they were based on the needs they had expressed in the first meeting. In addition, they spend time outside the pressures of a working meeting; they were also encouraged and moments of solace were provided. With pastors motivated and willing to fulfill its mission, the Association has developed work plans, thus consolidating one of the strongest fields of the Union. A program like this can still be a blessing to this ministry area as well as to anyone else who wishes to implement it.
