ISLAMIC COMMUNICATION AND BROADCASTING: STRENGTHENING ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS MESSAGES IN THE DIGITAL ERA

This article discusses the important role of communication and broadcasting in strengthening the message of the Islamic religion in the digital era. The increasingly advanced and globally connected digital era has drastically changed the landscape of communication and broadcasting. In the context of the Islamic religion, effective communication and broadcasting is the key to spreading Islamic teachings more broadly and strengthening religious understanding amidst the challenges of modern times. In this article, the author explains how communication and broadcasting can be effective tools in strengthening the message of the Islamic religion. First, we highlight the importance of using digital technology, such as social media, streaming platforms, and websites, as a means to spread religious messages quickly and widely. Effective communication through these platforms can reach millions of people around the world and enable Muslims to actively engage in discussion and exchange of ideas. In addition, the author describes how Islamic communication and broadcasting can play an important role in overcoming radicalization and extremism. By spreading the message of tolerance, peace-loving, and the right understanding of Islam, communication, and broadcasting can be a means to counter false narratives and prevent the spread of deviant ideologies. This article also covers the challenges faced in Islamic communication and broadcasting in the digital era, such as the risk of misinformation and the expansion of shallow understanding. Therefore, Islamic communicators and broadcasters need to pay attention to authenticity, accuracy, and sustainability in spreading religious messages.
