The article considers the presence of many minor characters who were present and important in Caterina Cornaro's life, both during her long stay in Cyprus and, after her return to Venice, at the court of Asolo. The great personalities who had a considerable influence on her, both positive and negative, and who are already known and studied, are expressly left out. The intention is to give an image of those who lived in Catherine's court, who were close to her and who, in Asolo, contributed to creating that myth of the 'ideal court' that will have its greatest celebration, while Catherine was still alive, in Pietro Bembo's Asolani.
