Patterns in the Ordering of Clitics

View through CrossRef
Abstract This chapter deals with specific problems associated with the relative ordering of clitics within the clitic cluster. Because only SSI (chapter 2) and WSl (chapter 3) have clitic clusters, we discuss only these languages. In addition, because Pol (section 3.3) does not have a clitic cluster, we do not discuss it here; however, the basic pronominal clitic ordering facts seen in section 5.2 do hold as tendencies in Pol.
