Landlord CVAs

View through CrossRef
Abstract This chapter focuses on the phases and development of CVAs proposed by companies as a means of modifying or compromising landlord claims. It also discusses the use of tenant companies' CVAs that are part of a listed group, where a parent company's shares are registered on a regulated stock exchange. Due to the Global Financial Crisis and subsequent global recession, traditional retail business models were experiencing the impact of change in the industry in line with the rapid development of internet technologies and digitisation of businesses. Moreover, numerous landlord CVAs successfully implemented by public companies are listed on stock exchanges.
