Abstract
The objective of this research was to determine to what extent a training program in management competencies can generate teacher metanoia. A quantitative study with a pre-
experimental, cross-sectional design was conducted. For this purpose, a training program was implemented for 25 active teachers, aimed at strengthening their managerial skills. The evaluation was carried out using a 30-question Likert scale questionnaire, validated by five experts in the field and previously tested on a pilot group of 10 teachers with similar characteristics to the study participants. The results showed significant improvements in teachers' managerial skills, who, after the training, mainly responded in the categories "almost always" and "always." These changes reflect a positive effect both in their classroom practice and in institutional management. The Wilcoxon test confirmed the statistical significance of the findings (p = 0.001; p < 0.05). It is concluded that the program was effective in promoting teacher metanoia, strengthening educational management comprehensively at the Hermanos Cárcamo Higher Technological Education Institute in Paita (2025).
