Hand-coloured photograph of Pauline Ekelund, born Berg, 1843-1881, in bridal gown (now kept in Bohusläns museum, see UM59.10.001). Mounted in mahogany frame with brass ornaments, glazed. On the thin brown protective paper of the back, which has mostly fallen off due to fragility, there is a lens shaped stamp with printed text: E. OHLSEN 'S GULDLISTFABRIK Göteborg. Pauline Ekelund married to the lieutenant colonel Frithiof Ekelund born 1838 in 1915. The wedding was on 7 October 1879 in the Town Hall Uddevalla. Invitation card see Bohusläns museum archive Avd. Individual archives Barks archives and as a copy to UM59.10.001 in appendix. The spouses Ekelund are buried in the North Cemetery, Uddevalla. The user and the donor sisters the daughters of Consul Alban Thorburn and relatives of Ekelunds via Bark.
