Sentido de la filosofía desde la tradición personalista

This article proposes to discuss the meaning of philosophy, rather than its utility, and to characterize the most representative philosophical currents of the 20th century in order to discover an unfailingly personal aspect beneath all of them. The meaning of personalist philosophy is, firstly, to reorient things and philosophy itself towards the person, the source of all authentic meaning. The meaning of personalist philosophy is, secondly, to promote a personalist turn that is situated in a fair middle ground between objectivism and subjectivism (both terms that are posterior to the interpersonal relationship). Furthermore, if personalism is compared with other philosophical traditions, it is found that the latter is superior, in terms of theoretical activity, in terms of the orientation of one's own life and in terms of professional vocation, whether in scientific, technical or service work. All of this could be summed up in the motto "to the people themselves!"
