To the 70th anniversary of Mikhail Alexandrovich Gomberg

In 2024, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Mikhail Alexandrovich Gomberg celebrates his anniversary. Mikhail Aleksandrovich's professional path is an example of service to science, medicine and society. As a student, M.A. Gomberg actively participated in the work of the scientific student circle at the Department of Skin and Venereal Diseases of the N.A. Semashko Moscow Medical Stomatological Institute. At that time the department was headed by a famous dermatovenenerologist, Prof. Asaf Lvovich Mashkilleyson, whose lectures made an indelible impression on students and doctors not only in the USSR, but also abroad. After graduating from the Institute, M.A. Gomberg worked as an ambulance doctor, then in the cardiac resuscitation department of the State Clinical Hospital No. 52, but after that he returned to the Department of Skin and Venereal Diseases, where he learned the clinical basics of dermatovenerology under the guidance of Prof. A.L. Mashkilleyson.
