MME – Potentiale durch mechatronische Maschinenelemente/MME – Potentials of Mechatronic Machine Elements

Inhalt: Die Digitalisierung des Maschinenbaus erfordert die Integration zusätzlicher, möglichst prozessnaher Sensoren. Der vorliegende Artikel adressiert die Frage der Integration der Sensoren in Maschinenelemente als idealerweise standardisierte Bauteile und die Notwendigkeit zum Umdenken in der Konstruktion, um mit möglichst wenig Änderungen an Montagevorrichtungen und -prozessen die effiziente Integration der Sensoren zu ermöglichen. Eine Betrachtung der möglichen Vorteile von Bauteil-integrierten Sensoren und einer entsprechend ausgerichteten Konstruktion zeigt den Forschungsbedarf und das wirtschaftliche Potential des Ansatzes auf.
