Keepsake: Soekarno and Nyerere

Purpose: This is a statement by Luangisa Emmanuel Francis on the occasion of the notching of the Diamond Jubilee of Diplomatic Relations between Indonesia and Tanzania come 2025 Methodology: The study adopted desktop literature review. Findings: The friendship between Tanzania and Indonesia is built on a very solid foundation laid down by the founding fathers, the late Soekarno and the late Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere. Fraternal relations have been nurtured, consolidated and advanced by successive generations of leaders of the two nations who followed thereafter. Unique Contribution to Theory, Practice and Policy: I ideate the concept to help the countries become less vulnerable to external shocks and other geographical tensions. I contemplate that the business between the two countries shall spread the risk across different areas and increased revenue streams. My own observation, unto which I stand to be corrected, has seen impassivity or disinterest to go above and beyond. Much efforts have been directed to paddy, a monoculture activity and a few other undertakings. I opt for variegation and visualize that the very action starts with agriculture then to other venues with a view to sustainable multifariousness.
