Mold made lamp. Flat base ring, flush with underside of reservoir walls, with sunken area within ring. Rounded reservoir walls joined at very slightly obtuse angle with rim. Ridge at edge of rim. Concave discus separated from rim by two ridges, the inner one thicker and higher than the other. On discus, a nude warrior kneels on marked ground line, head down, holding his shield on his left side. Filling hole at upper left side of discus. Mid-length nozzle with a thick framing ridge and sunken area above nozzle hole. Nozzle does not break continuity of rim. Vertical pierced handle attached below rim. Buff, micaceous fabric. Unslipped, although some dark brown paint has been added to the rim and on the hair of the figure, probably after firing. Small, repaired hole on base. Some chipping around nozzle hole.
