CARLO MARIO FEDELI, Guardini Educatore

Professor Carlo Mario Fedeli is a researcher and teacher at the University of Turin where he teaches History of Pedagogy and General Pedagogy. He has translated Guardini's main pedagogical essays from German into the Italian language (Persona e Libertà. Saggi di fondazione della teoria pedagogica? Editrice La Scuola, Brescia, 1987) and has published some books about this author, such as L'educazione come esperienza: The contribution of John Dewey and Romano Guardini to the pedagogy of the Novecento (Aracne, Rome, 2008); Pienezza and compimento. Alle radici della riflessione pedagogica di Romano Guardini (Vita e pensiero, Milano, 2003) and Romano Guardini filosofo dell'educazione (ISU Università Cattolica, Milano, 1995). The volume we are now reviewing is, therefore, the fruit of extensive and broad experience in the study of Guardini's educational writings.
