Elevating Sustainable Business Performance (SBP) of IT Enterprises via Entrepreneurial Agile Antecedents in Pakistan
View through CrossRef
Sustainable business performance has become a cardinal objective of an organization to survive in today's era of global economic crisis. This predicament challenged researchers, policymakers, and regulators to strive for a top-notch, acceptable, actionable global solution. In this drive, this specific study entrenched a unique agile framework for elevating sustainable business performance (SBP) of IT enterprises via contemporary entrepreneurial agile antecedents (comprised of agile capabilities, agile organizational culture, and agile practices). In this particular study, the researcher followed a correlational quantitative research approach, which entailed a survey methodology to collect a numerical dataset from 323 IT-associated respondents in Pakistan. Moreover, for empirical analysis, the SPSS-24 & Smart PLS opted to examine the proposed mediation model related to three agile antecedents and sustainable business performance (SBP) via mediation of entrepreneurial agility (EA). Based on empirical findings, it has been revealed that all three entrepreneurial agile antecedents hold statistically significant and direct relationships with entrepreneurial agility (EA) and sustainable business performance (SBP). Likewise, it is manifested that EA is also one of the significant predictors of SBP. Besides, the significant mediating role of EA (between entrepreneurial agile antecedents and SBP) is also evinced. This specific study tinted the necessity of an IT enterprise that a specific set of entrepreneurial agile antecedents must be deployed to get entrepreneurial agility and elevate its business sustainability. In addition, this study highlighted the significance of the 'be agile' approach to remain sustainable in a global competitive era. Furthermore, this study also presented a novel but practical agile framework for subject-specific experts, policy-making organizations, and practitioners.
