A szerződések sok esetben hálózatszerű jogi struktúrákat képeznek. A globalizáció olyan szerződéseknek kedvez, amelyek a szerződéses partnereket és a szerződések érintettjeit kiszámíthatóan és hosszú távon képesek együttműködésre ösztönözni. A hatékony szerződési jog érdekében fontos felismerni a szerződésekben rejlő szervező erőt, amely egyben szolgálja a gazdasági és társadalmi kockázatok csökkentését, a minőség javítását, a verseny fenntartását és a fogyasztóvédelmet egyaránt. Meg kell őrizni a szerződések tiszteletét, a törvényi és bírói jog hathatós támogatásával.
