Assessing the Impact of Color Ink Pens on Handwriting Quality Among Students
View through CrossRef
This study investigates the impact of different color ink pens on handwriting quality among students. A quantitative study was conducted with 100 participants, aged 12-18 years. Each participant wrote a standard paragraph using four different color ink pens: black, blue, red, and green. Handwriting quality was assessed using a standardized scale, evaluating legibility, consistency, and overall quality. The results showed significant differences in handwriting quality across different color ink pens. Black ink pens yielded the highest handwriting quality scores, followed by blue ink pens. Red ink pens showed a significant decline in handwriting quality, while green ink pens yielded the lowest scores. The findings have implications for educational settings and may inform strategies for improving handwriting skills.
