Rhyton in the shape of a double vase

Since rhytons were very popular, they appeared in many variations. This rhyton is typical of the Ardabil region (Azerbaijan). The rhyton in the shape of a double vase has handles decorated with animal heads. It has two openings at the bottom. Rhytons with double perforations were popular from the Achaemenid to the Sassanid period.
