The unspeakable mystery: Lacan and Wittgenstein on silence

View through CrossRef
There are three core concepts in Lacan's three registers hypothesis of "imaginary", "symbolic" and "real": "ego", "symbolic order", and "jouissance", which are effectively silenced in Wittgenstein's "unspeakable" field of view. After the silencing, this article looks for a possibility of speech for the unsolved solution by searching for a projection of the "speakable"—the "new three registers" of "coordinate", "normative", and "authoritative".
