The rapid advancement of technology and information has revolutionized various aspects of human life, including education. The digital revolution has facilitated fast, extensive, and accurate information access, presenting opportunities to enhance work processes. In education, technology, and information systems play a crucial role in administrative management, including digital transcript archiving and diploma data. Sekolah Indonesia Kota Kinabalu (SIKK) oversees multiple Community Learning Centre (CLC) in Sabah and Sarawak, facing the challenge of educating and graduating a substantial number of students annually in the digital age. Challenges arise from diploma storage systems and potential data misuse. In response, SIKK developed The Information System and Diploma Services Application (SIPISA). SIPISA goes beyond transcript archiving, streamlining diploma retrieval and recording crucial student diploma information. The application offers various benefits, such as improved alumni data accessibility, reduced paper usage, optimized physical storage utilization, and enhanced diploma retrieval management. SIPISA prioritizes a user-friendly diploma retrieval experience for students, parents, CLC teachers, and stakeholders. SIPISA's development follows the principles of Extreme Programming (XP), emphasizing active engagement and adaptability. Thoroughly tested, SIPISA proves effective with digital diploma archiving, efficient tracking, early data misuse detection, expedited diploma legalization, storage space savings, improved service quality, seamless alumni data search, and access to graduation statistics. SIPISA revolutionizes diploma management and administration, providing an efficient and modern system for SIKK and CLC.
