Colonel Queen's Own Worcestershire Imperial yeomanry. Lt. 2nd Life Guards. Married 3 August 1872 to Anne (9th daughter of Sir Charles des Voeux 2nd. Bt. Lord Sandys died without issue 26 July 1904.

Second marriage 6 February 1861 to Louisa Elizabeth (d. 25 January 1914) younger daughter of Charles Heneage.
