A dark shadowy town square with a lone figure walking towards the viewer. There are houses all around the square and a tall bell tower behind the figure. Tall dark mountains, one snow capped, loom over the town. The only colour in the picture is from a few lit up windows and doorways and from the stars. Signed 'C. N. Worsley R.B.A' at lower right.
