Bimbingan Konseling Pastoral Dalam Penggunaan Komputer Pada Pelajar

Although computers have many uses and benefits, the emergence of cases of students skipping school to play computers at internet cafes has become a public spotlight. Counseling is needed for students due to the emergence of these cases. This study uses pastoral counseling as a discussion material. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of pastoral counseling guidance to students related to computer use. Pastoral counseling is a form of counseling with additional pastoral concepts. The counselor is the one who provides the counseling while the counselee is the one who receives the counseling. The characteristic of pastoral counseling lies in the way the counselor counsels the counselee by applying spiritual elements. This research applies a qualitative method, examining several sources of literature such as books and articles on the internet related to the topic discussed. The results of this study indicate that the influence of peers, environmental factors around students, student personal factors, wrong parenting, school factors and the psychological dynamics of students skipping school are triggers for students skipping school to play computers in internet cafes. So, due to the emergence of cases of students skipping school to play computers in internet cafes, pastoral counseling guidance is needed for students. Quality is a factor in the success of counseling because professional counselors can influence the quality of pastoral counseling guidance. Pastoral counseling affects the psychological and spiritual aspects of the counselee. Meskipun komputer memiliki banyak kegunaan dan manfaat, muncul kasus pelajar bolos sekolah untuk bermain komputer di warung internet menjadi sorotan publik. Diperlukannya konseling kepada pelajar dikarenakan munculnya kasus tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan konseling pastoral sebagai bahan pembahasan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari bimbingan konseling pastoral terhadap pelajar terkait dalam penggunaan komputer. Konseling pastoral yaitu bentuk konseling dengan tambahan konsep pastoral. Konselor adalah orang yang memberikan konseling sedangkan konseli yaitu orang yang menerima konseling. Ciri khas konseling pastoral terletak pada cara konselor melakukan konseling kepada konseli dengan menerapkan unsur rohani. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kualitatif, meneliti beberapa sumber literatur seperti buku-buku serta artikel di internet terkait dengan topik yang dibahas. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh teman sebaya, faktor lingkungan sekitar pelajar, faktor pribadi pelajar, pola asuh yang salah, faktor pihak sekolah serta dinamika psikologi pelajar membolos yang menjadi pemicu pelajar bolos sekolah untuk bermain komputer di warung internet. Jadi, dikarenakan munculnya  kasus pelajar bolos sekolah untuk bermain komputer di warung internet maka bimbingan konseling pastoral diperlukan bagi pelajar. Kualitas menjadi faktor keberhasilan konseling karena konselor yang profesional dapat mempengaruhi kualitas dari bimbingan konseling pastoral. Bimbingan konseling pastoral mempengaruhi aspek psikologis dan spiritual dari konseli.
