AbstractThe author, who formed The Dilenschneider Group in 1991, is often referred to as the “Dean of American Public Relations Executives.” His tribute to Frances Hesselbein notes that they first met when he was a board member of the organization she co‐founded, the Drucker Foundation. “Every meeting,” he writes, “was full of her positive ideas. She always helped frame what really needed to be done and found ways to recognize and build relationships.” He concludes that “Frances Hesselbein laid a positive groundwork for what is happening in business and society today.”
