El Monismo de Freud

Resumen: En el Proyecto de una psicología para neurólogos Freud porpone un proyecto reduccionista de los fenómenos psiquicos, un proyecto que podríamos clasificar como un monismo reduccionista de corte materialista. Sin embargo, se ha señalado repetidas veces que Freud termina abandonando dicho programa y que dicho abandono se produce ya en 1900 con su obra La interpretación de los sueños. Considero que tal abandono no se produce, o al menos no en la forma que la mayoría de los comentaristas suponen, y que si hay algún cambio el el desarrollo posterior de su obra, nunca consiste en un abandono de su concepción monista. Lo que en este trabajo me propongo demostrar es que las únicas dos interpretaciones posibles de la metapsicología freudiana son o la de un monismo reduccionista que se corresponde con su proyecto original, o la de un monismo no reduccionista del estilo del monismo anómalo sostenido por Davidson.     Abstract: In the Project of a Psychology for Neurologists Freud proposes a reductionist project of psychic phenomena, a project that we could classify as a reductive monism of materialistic way. However, it has been pointed out repeatedly that Freud lay away this program and that this neglect happens already in 1900 with his work. The interpretation of the dreams. I think that such neglect does not occur, or at least not in the way that the majority of commentators suppose, and that if there is any change in the later development of his work, it is never a lay away of his monistic conception. My aim in this paper is demonstrate that the only two possible interpretations of Freudian metapsychology are either a reductionistic monism which corresponds to its original project or that of a non-reductionist monism in the style of anomalous monism held by Davidson.
