PENGARUH PEMBERIAN DAUN PEGAGAN (CENTELLA ASIATICA [L] URBAN) UNTUK PENYEMBUHAN LUKA RINGAN PADA ANAK TODDLER

Injuries to toddlers usually occur frequently, such as falls, motorbike accidents, njuries caused by blunt/sharp objects, falls, burns and animal bites. One of the plants that can be used as a wound healing medicine s gotu kola (Centella Asiatica [L] Urban). Gotu Kola has anti-infective, anti-leprosy, anti-syphilis and anti-aging properties. The aim of this research s to determine the effect of giving Gotu Kola leaves (Centella Asiatica [L] Urban) for healing minor wounds n toddler children at BPM Sarpi'ina Sinambela, S.Keb. This research uses a quantitative type of research using a method, namely Pre-Experimental with a One Group Pretest Posttest design. The population taken was all 70 children aged toddlers (1-3 years). The samples taken were 20 toddler children, who suffered minor njuries using an accidental sampling technique. Research data was taken using a questionnaire. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study showed that before giving gotu kola leaves (Centella Asiatica [L] Urban) 100% of respondents experienced minor njuries. Healing of minor wounds n toddlers after giving gotu kola leaves (Centella Asiatica [L] Urban) will be 75 percent of the total number of toddlers. The statistical test results obtained a p value of 0.000 (p<0.05) which means there s a significant effect of giving gotu kola leaves (Centella Asiatica [L] Urban) for healing minor wounds n toddler children. The conclusion of this research s that gotu kola leaves (Centella Asiatica [L] Urban) have a positive effect on healing minor wounds n toddler children. t s hoped that this research will become a source of nformation for the public about the use of gotu kola leaves as a Herb for healing minor wounds n toddlers.
