Effect of curing time on properties of polyether MDI polyurethane elastomer

View through CrossRef
Abstract In order to study the effect of curing time on the properties of polyurethane elastomers in MDI system and provide guidance for the production of polyurethane elastomers in this system, the effects of gradient (6-12h) curing time on the thermal stability and mechanical properties of polyurethane elastomers in polyether MDI system were studied in this paper. The results showed that the properties of polyurethane improved with the extension of curing time, and the mechanical properties of polyurethane tended to be stable when the curing time exceeded 10h.
