By experiencing Bangla language and literature for more than 20 years, Yang Weiming (Shorna) has adopted the quintessence of the works of Kazi Nazrul Islam, the rebel poet as globally known. Her article in a nutshell depicts a rich feature of vibrant Chinese practices on Nazrul's literature and songs. Yang, first, uncovers her spiritual feeling on the Bangla milestone poem 'Bidrohi'. Then, she explains how Nazrul rejects differences between and among the diversity of class-cast and gender and how the poet yelled against colonialism and atoned on the silence of the troubled native. Next, Yang presents a summary narrative of the history of Nazrul study and translation works in the China. In her statement, we come to know that the translations of Nazrul's works done directly from Bangla are better representation than those of done from English. After that, the author explains why Nazrul is very much pertinent for Chinese people. Finally, she concludes by asserting that Nazrul is a source of our principle of equality, in contrast to all kinds of discrimination based on place, time, class, religion and varied human made differences, to go towards a future world of uniformity.
