Abstract
We are dealing with modules of cotorsion pairs over commutative rings, especially when they are
$${\Sigma }$$
Σ
-modules, i.e. their infinite direct sums also belong to the same class. We prove a few results about their structures and their direct decompositions. As an example, cotorsion pairs generated by finitely generated modules are briefly discussed.
