<b>Polish abstract:</b> Władimir Putin jest osobą, która budzi wiele emocji. On interesuje, fascynuje, budzi strach. Nie ulega wątpliwości fakt fenomenu współczesnego prezydenta Federacji Rosyjskiej, który stanowi element wyróżniający Putina wśród jego poprzedników i być może następców, wśród jego przyjaciół i wrogów. Żeby lepiej poznać, przybliżyć twarz rosyjskiego prezydenta podjęto próbę analizy go psychologiczno-społecznej, politycznej osobowości. W literaturze przedmiotu są wiele zdań, zawierających zarówno krytykę, potępienie, jak i pozytywną ocenę jego działalności. Ciężko było się doszukać literatury, która by przedstawiała portret Władimira Putina w sposób obiektywny. Autorzy często analizują wizerunek prezydenta przez pryzmat własnych uczuć, przekonań, światopoglądu. Nie jest łatwym zadaniem obiektywnie określić naturę przywódcy Kremla. Na podstawie literatury przedmiotu oraz cybermateriałów podjęto próbę scharakteryzować oblicze Władimira Putina z maksymalnie możliwą bezstronnością badawczą.<br><br><b>English abstract:</b> Vladimir Putin is a person who evokes a lot of emotions. He is interesting, fascinates and causes fear. There is no doubt that the phenomenon of the modern president of the Russian Federation is an element that distinguishes Putin from his predecessors and perhaps successors, among his friends and enemies. In order to get to know the Russian president's face better, an attempt was made to analyze his psycho-social and political personality. In the literature on the subject, there are many sentences containing both criticism, condemnation and a positive assessment of his activity. It was hard to find any literature that would present the portrait of Vladimir Putin objectively. The authors often analyze the president's image through the prism of their own feelings, beliefs and worldview. It is not an easy task to objectively determine the nature of the Kremlin leader. On the basis of the literature on the subject and cyber materials, an attempt was made to characterize the face of Vladimir Putin with the maximum possible research impartiality.
