Roots of the Conjecture

What is conjecture? I suggest the following answer: conjecture (is) investigation on and about the past, (is) prediction, (is) retroduction, (is) suspicion, supposition, (is) invention, (is) methodology unification, (is) chance, (is) hypothesis, (is) epistemology. Well, conjecture is methodology, conjecture is the methodology. This definition is useful at practical level because it represents a summary of discussions and comments arising from it. Let’s look into it. We will say conjecture-methodology, not only “suspicion practice” as somebody maybe would like (rethoric conjecture); conjecture-methodology, not only “retroduction” (abductive conjecture); conjecture-methodology, not only “tracks, signs, symbols” (ichnographic-semiotic conjecture); conjecture-methodology, not only “stochastic process” (procedural conjecture); conjecture-methodology, not only “epistemology” (epistemological conjecture).
