Emil Ranzenhofer pencil sketch of Salih Brkic

Emil Ranzenhofer (1864-1930) was a WWI artist for the Austro-Hungarian Empire (KuK) volunteering for the KPQ (Kriegspressquartier) in September of 1915. In the later years of WWI, he was in Bosnia/Herzegovina and sketched many soldiers and war scenes. This is an example of a pencil sketch he did of Salih Brkic. Emil has signed his name "Ranzenhofer" to the right of the sketch with the date of 1917. Under the sketch, Salih Brkic has signed his name and identified his military attachment to the Bosnia/Herzegovina (B.H.) 10E troops.
