The Political Career of Apollodoros

Abstract
Although there is no evidence that Pasion was ever involved in politics, we know that he was a friend of several members of the political élite. Even if these friendships were of an exclusively social nature, they could provide his son with a ready-made entrée into the political arena, and might be expected to determine his early loyalties. The study of the political career of Apollodoros must therefore start with an examination of the men with whom his father associated.
