Pelatihan Kapasitas Pengelolaan BUMDESa Dalam Analisis Kelayakan Usaha Untuk Optimalisasi Pembangunan Desa

Sustainable village development requires the professional management of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDesa) through sound and sustainable business planning. However, many BUMDesa managers still have limited capacity to conduct comprehensive business feasibility analyses, resulting in suboptimal business development and limited contributions to Village Original Revenue (PADes). This community service programme aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of BUMDesa managers in conducting business feasibility analyses. The programme was implemented in Singingi Sub-district, Kuantan Singingi Regency, in September 2025, involving 13 BUMDesa and 26 participants, consisting of BUMDesa managers and village officials. The programme adopted a participatory approach through Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), Focus Group Discussions (FGD), participatory training, and mentoring. The programme was evaluated using questionnaires and tests to measure the participants’ improved understanding and skills gained from the training. The results demonstrated that the training significantly improved participants' understanding and competence in conducting business feasibility analyses covering market, technical, managerial, legal, environmental, socio-economic, and financial aspects. Quantitatively, the average participant score increased from 63.5% in the pre-test to 85.6% in the post-test, representing an improvement of 22.1 percentage points. Furthermore, participants have been able to draw up business feasibility analyses in the form of business proposals and formulate recommendations for business development in line with the characteristics of their respective village-owned enterprises (BUMDesa). These findings indicate that the programme effectively strengthened the managerial capacity of BUMDesa managers and can contribute to improving business performance, increasing Village Original Revenue (PADes), and supporting sustainable rural economic development.
