Fahrradreisen liegen im Trend, E-Räder entwickeln sich aus der Marktnische zu einer relevanten Fortbewegungsoption. Daraus ergibt sich eine Chance für besonders umweltverträgliche Tourismusprodukte auf der Basis elektromobiler Mobilitätsdienstleistungen. Im Projekt E-Destination wurden Konzepte für den Bodenseeraum entwickelt, um die Kombination von Bahnreise und Elektroradverkehr im Tourismus zu stärken. Im Zentrum stand dabei die Gestaltung innovativer Sharingservices im Dialog mit den lokalen Akteuren. Ziel war die Steigerung von Sichtbarkeit und Kundennutzen durch neue Geschäftsmodelle.
