The characteristics and attitudes of Erik Cohen's tourism research

This paper deals more deeply with the tourism research characteristics and attitudes of Erik Cohen, who has made important contributions to the field of tourism studies. Erik Cohen's research methods and perspectives have made a profound impact on modern tourism studies and contributed greatly to the multidimensional interpretation and understanding of tourism phenomena. To bridge the gap between abstract theorizing and empirical reality, Erik Cohen developed a typology that subdivides tourism phenomena into different types based on different criteria.
