Thickened rim; concave lip; low, rounded bowl; raised handles at mid-body; tall, hollow stem; disc base with concave top. Red clay; black glaze; added white and red paint. Reserved medallion on floor centre containing a black band and acentral dot; reserved band on inside of rim; inside of handles reserved; in the reserved handle zone a row of hoplites with helmets and large, decorated shields; on one side the warriors are led by a horseman in white chiton; palmettes on both sides of handles; reserved band on lower body; edge of base and underside reserved.
