Situs inversus totalis à l'Hôpital Général de Référence de Niamey : à propos d'un cas.

Introduction : Le situs inversus est une condition congénitale dans laquelle les principaux organes viscéraux sont inversés ou reflétés de leurs positions anatomiques normales. Il s’agit d’une malformation congénitale rare, il est souvent de découverte fortuite. L’imagerie médicale est souvent au centre du diagnostic. L’objectif de ce travail était de rapporter un cas de Situs inversus totalis diagnostiquer à l’Hôpital Général de Référence (HGR) de Niamey, Niger. Observation : Il s’agit d’un patient aux initiales M.M. de sexe masculin, âgé de 25 ans au moment du diagnostic reçu pour bilan systématique en vue de l’obtention d’une bourse d’études. A l’issu de l’examen, le diagnostic de situs inversus totalis a été évoquer. Le scanner thoraco abdomino pelvien fait en complément à confirmer le diagnostic et n’a retrouvé aucune autre anomalie associée. Conclusion : Le situs inversus est une malformation congénitale rare de découverte souvent fortuite au décours d’une symptomatologie liées aux malformations associées, à autre une maladie ou grâce aux examens d’imagerie médicale de routine. AbstractIntroduction : Situs inversus is a congenital condition in which major visceral organs are Totalis, Medical reversed or mirrored from their normal anatomical positions. At the end of the examination, the diagnosis of situs inversus totalis was evoked. The thoracoabdomino-pelvic CT scan also confirms the diagnosis and without any other associated anomaly. Conclusion : Situs inversus is a rare congenital malformation, often discovered by chance during the course of symptoms linked to associated malformations, other diseases or routine medical imaging examinations.
