DETERMINATION OF THE UDDER NIPPLES’ POSITION AT MILKING ROBOTIZATION

There are more than 4,000 dairy farms and complexes in the Republic of Belarus, of their total number of 1,670 facilities or 41% with milking parlors and robots are equipped. There are on industrial farms contain almost 2/3 of the total country dairy cows and they more than 60% of the public sector’s total milk production producing. There are over 50% of Brest region’s dairy farms and complexes to industrial milk production technology have been converted, 17% ones in Vitebsk, 43% - in Gomel, 47% - in Grodno, 38% - in Minsk and 50% - in Mogilev region. The dairy cattle breeding world experience confirms the robotic milking steady trend as one of the promise areas developing. At the same time, the results obtained on Belarus farms and complexes force us to think about the need of objective criteria for effectiveness approaches evaluate developing that should be aimed at the robotic milking development adapted to the Republic of Belarus’s conditions creating. Robots for an automated milking system perform many functions, namely, the udder before connecting the milking machine preparing; the nipples finding and a milking machine to them connecting; milking machine in a timely manner removing; the nipple rubber disinfecting; the number of steps for the cow’s took after the last milking counting. Among the secondary functions, robots signals to the breeding gates for cows’ sampling problem sending, milk yield, acidity, temperature, measuring etc. Based on the imported milking equipment on Republic of Belarus’s dairy farms and complexes and the need of robotic milking machines’ import substitution availability, we believe that there is a need to domestic robotic milking equipment developing, creation of which must in several stages be carried out. At the initial stage, it is necessary for milking equipment on the udder’s positioning system, that is the robotic milking machines’ central link developing. At each of the subsequent stages, the positioning system will be retrofitted with multiparameter’s control and systems’ monitoring.
Title: DETERMINATION OF THE UDDER NIPPLES’ POSITION AT MILKING ROBOTIZATION
