THE USING OF VIBURCOL® FOR ARVI DURING DENTING IN AN INFANT

Acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) in infants, especially with concomitant denting, pose a complex diagnostic and therapeutic challenge for pediatricians. The presented clinical case describes the observation of a patient 6 months old with ARVI and acute nasopharyngitis developed against the background of teething. The therapy used a set of measures, including antipyretics, nasal toilet and the use of Viburcol®. Against the background of treatment, rapid positive dynamics was noted: normalization of temperature during the day, a decrease in catarrhal phenomena and an improvement in the general condition of the child. This observation demonstrates the possibility of using Viburcol® as a component of ARVI therapy in infants, especially in cases complicated by dentation.
