Fronteiras em falso: a escrita da tensão memória-história em “O outro pé da sereia”, de Mia Couto, e “Bom dia Camaradas”, de Ondjaki

Discute-se, no presente trabalho, a reconstrução da identidade, por meio de processos desencadeados pela memória do vivido, mas, tendo como elemento central de análise, a produção do discurso formulado de um lugar discursivo que é do “Outro”, do colonizador. A análise da tensão de re-estruturação do “Eu”, a partir da língua desse Outro, é desenvolvida na perspectiva comparada de dois romances: “O outro pé da sereia”, de Mia Couto, e “Bom dia Camaradas”, de Ondjaki, considerando, em ambos, o processo de construção da identidade do narrador. Para tanto, utiliza-se como categoria teórica privilegiada os trabalhos localizados na interface da teoria da literatura, que trabalham com a temática do tempo e os estudos culturais. Fake borders: the writing of memory-story tension in Mia Couto's “O outro pé da sereia” and Ondjaki's “Bom dia Camaradas”In the present work, we discuss the reconstruction of identity, through processes triggered by the memory of what was lived, but having as a central element of analysis the production of the discourse formulated from a discursive place that belongs to the “Other”, to the colonizer. The analysis of tension present in the re-structuring of the “I”, through the language of this Other, is developed in the comparative perspective regarding two novels: O outro pé da sereia, by Mia Couto, and Bom dia Camaradas, by Ondjaki, considering in both of them the narrator’s process of identity construction. To that end, the theoretical framework of this study are the works of literary theory that articulates the time as a theme, as well as the ones of cultural studies.DOI: 10.28998/2317-9945.2020n64p144-153
