European Integration Aspects of Sustainable Innovative Development of Enterprises During War

The article presents the role of sustainable innovative development of enterprises in the conditions of VUCA – the world. The theoretical principles of sustainable economic development in the conditions of Industry 5.0 and Economy 5.0 are revealed. The economic content of innovations and innovative development is presented. The innovative imperatives of sustainable economic development are identified. The innovative imperatives of sustainable economic development are: the use of advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), augmented reality, Big Data, and others; prioritizing the development of human capital through training and development of labor resources, creating safe working conditions; increasing the role of social responsibility of business and the state before society; strengthening the collaboration of science, government, and business to create innovations and apply open innovations that increase resource efficiency and implement the principles of the circular economy to increase competitiveness. The importance of sustainable innovative development of enterprises in the European integration progress of Ukraine is substantiated in the conditions of the need to rebuild the country and restore the national economy. One of the important trends in the development of domestic enterprises - the implementation of the European Green Deal - is characterized and the principles of the formation of a "green economy" are presented. The growth of environmental challenges on a global scale has become a global imperative that requires the stimulation of eco-innovations in ensuring sustainable development. This trend is reinforced by the requirements of modern clients and consumers regarding the environmental component of the sphere of production and services, ethical and social aspects of doing business, which affects the popularity of brands whose operation is based on the principles of sustainable economic development. The principles of sustainable social development provide for the initiation by the state and business and support for the development of environmental technologies. As for Ukraine, the relevance of this trend is enhanced in the conditions of hostilities on the territory of the country. The economic revival and restoration of Ukraine must take place precisely on the principles of sustainable development, which requires the introduction of green economy concepts and the stimulation of eco-innovations. The experience of innovative development of Israel in the conditions of permanent war and the possibility of its use in Ukraine are considered. A paradigm of sustainable innovative development of enterprises is developed, consisting of imperatives, determinants and implementation effectiveness. The role and significance of sustainable innovative development in the formation of competitive advantages of the national economy in the global market is proven. The imperatives of sustainable innovative development of enterprises are: transition to environmental technologies and eco-innovations, increased social responsibility of enterprises, public partnership, and involvement of consumers and clients in active communication. In the current environment, it is extremely important for the country to master breakthrough technologies and implement technological and non-technological innovations as a result of innovative progress.
