PLANNBOOK with printed commemorative leaf Of light golden brown goatskin. Rectangular with rounded corners. Composed of two interfolded joins with edge stitches. On the inside of each half two compartments, lined with reddish-brown pressed skin. On the outside of the front heel in leather plasty against the punched bottom a contoured shield held by a lion. On the shield the monogram: (Walter von Hallwyl) under the crown with nine bullets. Length: 16 cm, width extended: 21.5 cm. Half, width: 10.6 cm. Memory Blade: Composed of two folded contiguous lifts of white thin cardboard with edges of grief. On the front over dark clouds an unradiated cross in white, below the cross text in white: SPERA IN DEO, below: O CRUX, AVE, SPES UNICA! On the two inner pages and the back pages text in black in German. At the top of the front half an oval portrait of Count Max Marschall (1856-1914). Length: 11.6, width: 7.5 cm. Probable gift to Walther von Hallwyl a early 1900s from someone in the family.
