Fred Moten e a vanguarda sentimental negra

This work proposes a possible aesthetic topology of a Black Sentimental Vanguard, designed poetically and philosophically by Fred Moten. In the exercise of elaborating Afro subjectivities outside of tragic determinations, Moten develops the Black Avant-garde as a sentimental dimension that, emerging from the holds of slave ships, manifests itself paraontologically as a destabilizing force in the ethical and aesthetic structures of modernity. I observe that for Moten, in this process of inventing realities and community orders, black people ontologically improvise, creating their subjectivities through collective performativities.
