Ryan is called “Kalk” and was added in 1960. It’s the carpet that I.S. thought best about. The idea was given I.S. after a church service in Switzerland. She means that her best carpets have an experience, often nature experience, as a background. Ingrid Skerfe won a series of prizes in a math competition. 1947. In 1952 Skerfe-Nilsson’s Textilateljé was opened in Uppsala. All the yarns were specially colored for Skerfe-Nilsson. Approximately 350 colours. 1367 designs, most of Ingrid Skerfe, now remain in sketch. The Firman was taken over in the autumn of 1971 by the Blockaregården’s home camp in Dalarna. Donated on 7 July 1971 by the textile artist Ingrid Skerfe, Uppsala.
