OPTIMALISASI PEMANFAATAN WEBSITE PROFIL DESA DALAM MENINGKATKAN PEREKONOMIAN WARGA DESA PADDINGING KECAMATAN SANROBONE KABUPATEN TAKALAR

The village website as information management is broadly used as a public information medium that can be accessed online. The village government can use the website as an information medium which includes village profiles, village news, village galleries, and village statistics. This service activity will be carried out in Paddinging Village, a village in Sanrobone District, Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi. The consideration regarding the selection of this location is that Paddinging Village does not yet have a village website. On the other hand, Padding Village has several natural potentials that can be maximized by disseminating information to the community inside and outside the village.Seeing the potential possessed by Paddinging Village, the implementing team for beginner PkM activities felt an interest in helping make the website and training its use for Paddinging Village officials. By carrying out these activities it is hoped that village officials can be more active and maximal in managing information about Paddinging Village—partner Problems. Based on the analysis of the situation in Paddinging Village, Sanrobone District, Takalar Regency, several problems arise, namely; a)Paddinging Village does not yet have a village website as a means of online information and reporting. b) Paddinging Village has high potential in the natural resources and tourism sector but lacks attention from the central government. c) Due to the considerable distance from the district/city, the people of Paddinging Village tend to have difficulty marketing their crops. The service team also explained the importance of the benefits of the village website and how to maximize sales of household products through online media. It provided examples of online sales through the E-Commerce platform. The service team also conducted sharing sessions and question-and-answer sessions with community representatives who were present
