Yamato Takeru no mikoto 文様 is one of the most important heroes of the Japanese legend treasure. He is a very ambivalent figure, as he is known for his strength and determination as well as for his cruelty. The picture here shows him during the submission of the eastern provinces. He had been trapped, lured to a field with high grass and lighted the grass, so he was trapped by the fire. He then took his sword and mowed the grass, so the fire collapsed. The sword it uses was named “Kusanagi no tsurugi Das Das” (The Grass Cutting Sword).
